It was an amazing finish to an amazing season. Paige Skrypichayko swept her at the Alberta Summer Games in Lethbridge last week. The fifteen year old athlete from Glendon captured gold in the shotput, discus and javelin events in the under 17 category. She managed personal bests in all three events. She will now take a break for the rest of the summer.
Other Glendon Athletes who medalled included Jayden Foley who took Gold in the discus event and narrowly missed medaling in javelin. Foley and Skrypichayko were both members of the 1A Provincial Winning Glendon School club and also members of the Alberta contingent who competed in the inaugural Toronto Grand Prix.
