June 16 is the Glendon Rough Stock Rodeo and Dance.  Gather up your friends for a small town event that will prove to be a great day.  At noon, come down to the RCMP Hall for the Chili Cook-off and Crowning of Miss Rodeo Glendon.  For $5 you can sample all the chili and see who will have the winning recipe.  Next door at the Glendon Curling Centre is the Farmer’s Market featuring handmade crafts and fresh food.

Gates at the Rodeo site open at 5 p.m.  Enjoy rodoe’s roughest events:  saddle bronc, bareback and bull riding.  Admission to the rodeo is $10 for adults and $5 for under 12.  Watch some of Alberta’s best cowboys ride their way into the standings! Then after the rodeo…about 9 p.m. the Opry Boyz take to the stage for the the Rodeo Dance back in the RCMP Hall.  Dance admission is $15 or you can get a rodeo/dance package for just $20.

Enjoy the day.  Everything is more fun in Glendon!
