For the third year in a row, Glendon School captured the 1A Track and Field Provincial Banner in Edmonton last weekend.  More notably however is the number of points the tiny school from Glendon gathered.  They handily snapped up the 1A title earning 177.25 points while the second place school is their division scored 49. When ranked by points, Glendon also gathered more points than any other 2A school and overall, Glendon placed ninth out of EVERY school in Alberta.  This feat was accomplished by a team of 15 kids who advanced from SPAA and then to Zones to earn the right to compete for their schoo lin Provincials.  Paige Skrypichayko, grade 10,  led the charge medalling in three of four events.  She won gold in javelin, silver in shot and bronze in discus.
